How It Works

Exchange Steps

Exchanging is an easy process, starting with your order number. If you are replacing a part from another vendor (local lumberyard, Amazon, etc.), simply skip the order number, pick the SkyLift equivalent and check out.

  1. Step 1

    Find your order

    Enter the order number from your confirmation email or packing slip. Exchanges open once the order has shipped.

  2. Step 2

    Pick the part

    Each item is broken down into its parts, like the riser, saddle or base, so you can swap one part without replacing the whole assembly.

  3. Step 3

    Choose & check out

    Choose a replacement from the same part family, set the quantity, and pay for it at checkout.

  4. Step 4

    Send the original back

    Your replacement arrives with a prepaid return label. Pack the original part in the same box and send it back.

How The Exchange Credit Works

Exchanging part of a SkyLift order is two simple transactions: you buy the part you need, and we credit back the part you return.

  • Swap the riser, saddle or base on its own, not the whole assembly
  • You pay for the replacement at checkout, like any other order
  • Each replacement is linked to your original order automatically
  • Pack the original part in the same box and use the prepaid label

10% Restocking fee and any relevant shipping.
Returned scuffed or damaged

What Can Be Exchanged

Covered Part Families

Parts are exchanged within their own group: a Heavy Duty riser for another Heavy Duty riser, a saddle for another saddle. Items outside the program, like straps, U-bolts, flashing and post kits, go through the return form.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about exchanging a SkyLift part.

Risers, saddles, beam brackets and base brackets from the Heavy Duty, G2 Modular, Stainless, Aluminum, Awning and Shade Sail families. A part can be swapped for another part from its own group, for example a 24" Heavy Duty riser for a 30" one. Straps, U-bolts, flashing and post kits are not part of the program and can be sent back with the return form.
